About us

The Majura Park Gun Club (MPGC) is situated between Mount Majura and Mount Ainslie in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), 10 minutes from the heart of Canberra, capital of Australia.  The club specialises in competition clay target shooting.  The ground facilities include:

4 DTL (Down The Line) traps

1 Ball trap

1 Skeet layout

A club house with kiosk (food menu, tea and coffee etc)

Amenities block - toilets and shower facilities with mains power outlets

Powerful lighting towers for DTL night shooting

Camping is permitted at the grounds with prior notice and approval (please contact the Public Officer)

We choose to use wireless voice activated Gemini and Canterbury traps throwing biodegradable White Flyer targets - orange in the day and white at night under lights.

Australian Clay Target Association members are invited to join us at any of our club events.  The club committee and its members hope to see you at our next shoot!

The MPGC is affiliated with the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia and is part of the New South Wales Clay Target Association Southern zone.
